Reserve early to ride horses on Hampton Beach NH state park with North Road Farm professional guide Jan Brubacher and her schoolmaster horses. Limited horseback ride season – don’t wait! Top 5***** tour. Best times to ride horses on Hampton Beach State Park, NH are October, November and March, April.

• October 1 – April 30 OPEN to horseback riding.
• May 1 – September 30 CLOSED to horseback riding.
• Beach rides are NOT AVAILABLE in January or February

Jan is your mounted guide as you ride the sand and surf on experienced beach horses.  Our horse speeds are walk, trot or canter depending on your skill and safety level.  Up to four mounted riders can participate.

All new, beginner or novice riders must take the Pre Ride Prep lesson prior to the beach excursion.  For your safety, we will not accept inexperienced riders.  We will only accept riders who weigh 198 lbs or less.

Non-riding party or family members enjoy walking the beach while taking photos and videos of the horseback riders.

You adventure runs about 4 hours round trip from North Road Farm, Fremont to Hampton Beach State Park, NH. We trailer the horses to and from the beach.  At the end of your ride, you continue on to your next destination. You do not have to return to North Road Farm.

Weather and what to wear.  Dress in layers!  It’s always easier to take a layer off than wish you had brought it.  The beach is always cooler than expected.  Don’t disappoint yourself on this super fun day by becoming cold and tight.   A riding helmet is required, so bring your own or use one of ours.  Long pants like jeans best or your own riding clothes.  Boots or shoes with heels.  No sneakers or shorts.

If nasty weather is forecasted – and it does in New England, we will reach out to you within 48 hours to determine your level of comfort of riding with the weather.  Note: the horses don’t care about the weather.  We reschedule the beach for you at no charge, but we do not cancel beach rides.

Only you can cancel your ride.  Cancelled rides not rescheduled and completed within the current season or following season will be forfeited.  I.e. if you cancel your ride in October, you have November, March, April to reschedule.  If you cancel your ride in April, you have October, November, December to reschedule.  Thank you for understanding.
