- New campers may want to consider a pre-camp one hour riding lesson.
Are you a Horseback Camper?
Your camper may feel more secure if she or he has a parent or adult present if new to day camp. Please feel free to stay and support your kid. Older youth, adults, autistic, developmental delay, other disabilities all welcome to summer horse riding camp. Additional fees may apply for special needs.
Horseback Camp Safety
Campers are always supervised by a camp counselor. No camper will be pushed beyond her or his comfort level. We offer low stress, high impact equine environment.
Camper Rider Release
Each camper must complete and submit this Rider Release form. This form must be signed by an adult and received prior to the first day of camp.
Required items for Horseback Riding Campers:
- Helmets are suppied or bring your own safey approved horse helmet.
- Sturdy shoes or boots with heels are required. No sneakers.
- Long or short-sleeved shirt (or both).
- Sunscreen, bug repellent if necessary (depending on skin sensitivity).
- Bring your own snacks, beverages, and lunch (water is provided).
Daily Schedule for Campers
- 9 am drop-off
- group hands-on horse learning topic
- snack break
- group riding lesson – parents welcome to watch
- 12 pm camper pick-up by adult
