Meet the Horses & 4H Club at North Road Farm’s 3rd Annual Open Barn
Saturday, June 19 from 1 – 3 pm. You, family and friends are invited to visit the five horses and one pony who live at North Road Farm and serve as 4H projects, lesson mounts and best friends for dozen of youth and adults in the local area. Learn about the Horse Apprentice Program, 4H Club, summer camp and tour the 200 year old farm. No reservation necessary.
Meet Jan Brubacher, Owner, Instructor, Leader of North Road Farm since 2004. Jan renovated the farm, started the riding program and founded the 4H club. She teaches students as young as 5 years to adults and persons with disabilities at her historic location. Students enjoy all types of riding: English, western, jumping, bareback, games, shows, trail and beach rides. The animals (horses, dogs, cats and husband) are friendly and well-trained. Summer camp is popular with kids who want more time with horses including additional riding, feeding, caring and learning in greater scope. Through the 4H Club, Peppermint Ponies, youngsters are exposed to horses, make new friends, participate in local activities & fairs and contribute to community service.

Outdoor Riding
With daylight saving and spring in the air we are back in full
stride riding & jumping in the ring, turf cross county jumping, trails
through the woods, beach rides and hacks on local roads. Call for
afterschool, weekend or vacation times.

Peppermint Ponies 4H Club
2010 4H season underway. Meetings 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 6:30 - 8 pm.

Summer Camp
Summer Camp 2010 enrollments now open. Click HERE for dates, rates and registration forms.
Half day: 8 am - noon and full day: 8 am to 3 pm, Monday - Friday.
Camp sessions offered last week in June, all of July and first two weeks of August.
Horseback riding, horse care, bathing, grooming, braiding, arts & crafts, water & sand play, games, friends, hanging out in the hay loft time.
